• $8M maximum can be earned per season. (However, if you do write 2 articles worthy of an A+ rating, you'll get the $10M)
• The season starts and ends with the release of the EOS Re-signings file.
• Grading Scale:
••• A+ articles: $5 million cash (only the very best of the best get this)
••• A articles: $4 million cash
••• B+ articles: $3 million cash
••• B articles: $2 million cash
••• C articles: $1 million cash
• I will probably be the one to grade the articles unless I have any volunteers that want to help out with this.
••• I will try to read the articles asap and post the grade.
• Cash will be included with the release of the FA file following re-signings.
Also, if you have negative cash and you did an article(s) and that money would put you in the positive, then that money will be given to you before the FA file is released so that you can resign your players.
I'll be fairly lenient in my grading, but content and creativity are most important. Relevance to the league is important too, but not as much. (ie., a well-written article about a single team or player won't be worth less than a poorly written article that includes all the teams in the league.) Mostly I'll be looking to be sure some effort was put into it and you didn't just post a list or a few sentences and call it an article.
If doing any sort of ranking articles (power ranking, mock draft, draft grades, predictions, etc.), the more analysis the better. Posting a list of amateur draftees sorted by peak and calling it a mock draft will get you an F and only result in wasting both your time and mine.
Article suggestions:
Any type of rankings with analysis as mentioned above are great.
Interviews (whether it's collaborated with a fellow GM or completely made up.)
Features (about a particular player, GM, event, milestone, etc.)
Feel free to post other suggestions here that you would enjoy to give writers ideas.
Oh, and two more things ... quotes are awesome. Made up or not, they give articles personality if used well. ... facts that back up your analysis is always a plus.
