Contraction - Believe me, I do not normally support contraction. Once you contract, you're already one foot in the grave. However, here, we're basically dead where we stand, so it's completely different in this scenario. If we get 18, then awesome, but here's my idea for contraction if we need to go that route...
- Ideally Brooklyn and London are contracted. They're presumed open and have a shoddy recent history. If clarkson451 comes back, offer to move to Athens, but if he wants to stay with London, then we'll look at a different team to contract.
- We have a 5 round contraction draft based off of the 2nd round 2027 amateur draft order. Teams can pass on picks, but cannot trade them.
- Both Leagues are then split into North and South divisions with 4 teams in each division with 2 Wildcard teams from each league, keeping 4 playoffs teams. ----------
If No Contraction - Then I suggest to move a team to the other league to fix the home/away and division scheduling glitches.
- In 2027, Dortmund played 80 road games and 82 home games. Dortmund played division teams Paris 19 times and Berlin 16 times while having played Cairo 21 times. Where is the sense in this?
- Certainly in one League it would be easier to make the playoffs than the other, but this has been realistic in sports history. Giving everyone equal home/road games and making divisions meaningful is pretty big in my eyes.

I don't think mogul supports the wild card with only 16 teams. This is why we had 18 teams. 16 is like the old MLB where you had to win your division to get in the playoffs.

That is something we DEF need to check out before we contract any teams then. I am DEF not for only 4 teams in the playoffs.

Agreed, I would rather not lose the wild-card. I'm in a league without it, but I do notice the difference, and it keeps fewer teams in it and active near/after the deadline.
